Network Engineer
Administer Computer and Network Infrastructure including Hardware, Software, Applications, Printers, Scanners, etc.
Duties:
- * Perform Regular Data backups and Recovery.
* Monitor Network Communications and Systems Performance
* User Administration
* Implement Policies, Procedures and Plans to use the Computer and Network system effectively.
* Setup installation and troubleshooting of Computer and Network systems
* Use Programming languages to create modules/macros to do administrative jobs
* Update and Install new hardware, Software, applications, etc.
* Administer and Maintain Windows NT/2000, Linux and Unix Server
* Configuration and installation of LAN & Wireless Systems using IP Protocols and Routers and Switches and use Cryptographic algorithms and data security to handle data in a secured manner.
* Provide User Training.
Tools: Networks (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP), Active Directory, Windows/Linux/Unix Server, SQL, Veritas Backup, IP Routing Protocols Cryptography & Data Security, Security Algorithms (DES, AES, Hash Functions), HP Openview, CiscoWorks, VPN, WLAN, Programming Languages: C, C++, MySQL, Oracle, Visual Basic, HTML
Minimum Requirements: BS degree in Engineering/IT related. Two years of work experience in network infrastructure with expert knowledge in Networks (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP), Active Directory, Windows/Linux/Unix Server, SQL, Veritas Backup, IP Routing Protocols, Cryptography & Data Security, Security Algorithms (DES, AES, Hash Functions), HP Openview, CiscoWorks, VPN, WLAN, Programming Languages: C, C++, MySQL, Oracle, Visual Basic, HTML
